Description The video library application includes management of video CD and Laser Disc and customer details for the renting of video CD and LD. The project has been developed in C++, DB library, and Sybase server in Unix environment.

Description Student administration includes managing the studentís detail, course details and their performance. The project has been developed using Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 7.0

Description Hotel management system include management of the customerís details, room available in the hotel and assignment of required room to the customer. This project has been developed by taking into consideration Software Engineering concepts using MS Access.

Description Modification of Binary programs without source code using disassembly, microprogramming and other tools. The tools involved disassembler (W32DASM), HEX Editor (Norton Commander). The basic idea behind modification of a program without using its source code requires a good knowledge of Assembly Language. All the tools that are available are based on modification at low level, i.e. Assembly Language.

8.                     Title      Multimedia Applications (Visual Basic 6.0)

Description The project consists of two applications:

 

                        1.         Futuristic Media Player                   ( 88 kb) or Download(Latest compatible with Windows10, Windows11)

This is a media player created using Visual Basic 6.0. This can be used to run different media files like DivX, MP3, WAV, MOV, AVI, MPEG, CDA etc. This can also play FLASH files.

This player allows you to apply different skins to it. This player can save all the settings of skins,

This provides you with all basic function like repeat, shuffle, playlist as well as some advanced options like playlist, A to B function.

 

 

In case you face problem with the file comdlg32.ocx, here is the solution:-

  1. 1. Download COMDLG32.OCX (right click the text on the left and save to your Desktop).

  2. 2. Back up your current copy of COMDLG32.OCX and copy the new version to the same file location. This file should be located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory on your C: drive (for Windows NT and 2000: \WINNT\system32).

  3. 3. Using your mouse, click on the "Start" button and then click on "Run".

  4. 4. According to your Operating System, type the following command to register this library file:

    Windows 95, 98, or Me:
    regsvr32 \windows\system\COMDLG32.OCX

    Windows NT or 2000:
    regsvr32 \WINNT\system32\COMDLG32.OCX

    Windows XP:
    regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMDLG32.OCX

  5. 5. You should see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded".
